Instructions:
Required:
• A 50L Drum or similar fully filled with water
• Water tap supply
• Hose kit with foot/non-return valve and garden connections (Hozelock item HZ2065P0000)
1. First carefully read through the instruction manual provided and follow all safety checks.
2. Always check your oil and fuel levels before operating.
3. Set up your pressure washer close to your water tap supply on a level position.
4. Connect the high pressure outlet hose and lance .
TO FILL FROM A BARREL A FOOT VALVE/NON RETURN VALVE IS REQUIRED ON YOUR HOSE. THIS CAN BE PROVIDED BY GENFITT SEE ITEMS: G20251 & 20252 FOR MORE DETAILS
5. Using the hose kit fitted with a garden connection on one end and a foot valve on the opposite end, fill this hose by connecting to a water supply tap.
6. With your hose kit filled connect to your pressure washer via garden connection without losing water and place the foot valve end in the barrel of water.
7. Pull the spray trigger to ensure water is moving the through the lines and out the nozzle without any leaks before starting the unit.
WATER MUST BE CONNECTED/TURNED ON PRIOR TO STARTING YOUR ENGINE
8. To start the machine, turn the switch to the ON position on the side of the engine. Check to ensure fuel valve is in the ON position and if starting cold, apply the choke.
9. Brace the unit with your foot and ensure that you are completely balanced on a flat surface. Pull recoil cord slowly until resistance is felt and then pull rapidly to avoid kickback. Once the engine is running, disengage the choke lever.
10. If the pressure washer pump has not primed after steps 7-9 then there is air in the system. Turn off the engine immediately and tap feed the pressure washer by connecting an inlet garden hose via the garden hose connections to a water tap supply. Turn on your water supply tap, pull the spray trigger to ensure water is moving the through the lines and out the nozzle without any leaks. Now your pump should be primed, and any excess air should be removed.
11. Repeat steps 7-9 to finish priming from a barrel. 12. Watch our YouTube video for more info.
